Quadel's 32nd Housing Choice Voucher Conference: October 15-17, 2008
Quadel 32nd Annual Housing Choice Voucher Conference will focus on the importance of providing quality customer service in the HCV program. This year’s conference will highlight high impact solutions currently in use among PHAs around the country to help your voucher program improve its focus on customer service, while also addressing practical program issues that drive program performance and service delivery.

Registration and Information

Assisted Housing Manager (AHM)
A two-day course for front-line housing staff, managers and owners on all the requirements and rules that affect occupancy of HUD-subsidized multifamily housing covered by HUD Handbook 4350.3 Rev. 1. An optional certification examination is held on the third day.

Tax Credit Compliance Systems (TaCCs) and Mixed Finance
A two-day workshop designed for front-line staff, managers and owners of low income tax credit properties covering all critical compliance areas, including applicant/tenant eligibility, income determination and verification, full-time students and the next available unit rule.

Three half-day individual modules have been developed for LIHTC properties with multiple subsidies. Subsidy programs covered include Section 8, Section 236, Section 202/8, Section 202 and 811 PRAC, RAP, Rent Supplement, public housing and the HOME program. Housing Choice Voucher Occupancy
A two-day course for new, front-line staff and a useful refresher for experienced or supervisory staff who are working in the Housing Choice Voucher program. Quadel’s approach combines use of classroom lecture, PowerPoint presentations, case studies, course book instruction, and group exercises to further the student’s understanding of the material.

Housing Quality Standards
A two-day training which includes classroom lecture, discussion, and review of training films to provide the participant with knowledge of HQS requirements for Housing Choice Voucher units.

Audit
A one-day course for accounting and auditing professionals working with HUD subsidized housing programs offers: sample audit procedures and data collection protocols on specific topics; recent HUD issuances; practical knowledge and understanding of the HUD requirements for auditing; and a summary of occupancy requirements for HUD-subsidized multifamily properties.
